Kristen Struebing-Beazley, Multimedia

Struebing-Beazley makes works in visual/tactile materials which often multiply and are configured in a spatial environment. Ceramic Calveria built on a human skull, Polaroid dye/emulsion transfers of surgical operations, linoleum cut prints of classic Greek symposia and recreation of ancient monuments containing text all figure in her timeless approach to Ars Longa. With the MFA in printmaking from Tulane University and strong technique in historic non-digital photo processes  (as collected by the V&A museum and Polaroid) Kristen images passage, memento mori and Tank Drama. She is a founding member of the Vestiges Project of New Orleans, an artist/ writer collaboration of three decades.
